Department Manager: Communications and Fundraising

Department Manager: Communications and Fundraising – Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation

Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation is on a mission to end human trafficking. We believe that every child deserves exceptional care and a chance to thrive. Blue Dragon kids are street kids, children with disabilities, and young people who have been trafficked. After rescuing children from danger and slavery, we reunite them with their family and provide all the services needed for recovery and growth while advocating for improvements to policy and law. The Communications and Fundraising department ensures the success of Blue Dragon’s work through fundraising, communications and marketing, and by maintaining our excellent reputation with donors, sponsors and the wider community.

This is a rare opportunity for a key position within Blue Dragon. We are recruiting a Manager for the Communications and Fundraising department. Based in Hanoi, the Manager leads a dynamic, professional department responsible for campaigns, appeals, sponsorship, business partnerships, grants and reporting, digital communications, and other aspects of our engagement with the global community. The Manager works alongside technical experts in an expanded leadership role that fosters a culture of collective ownership.

The department operates as a network of collaborative teams, each with their own coordinator, including remote staff. Outstanding communication and teamwork skills are essential for all department members. This position requires the skill to bring the teams together, bringing out the best in each person and ensuring that strong systems  are in place to support staff.
